A lot of us, including me, do things without having the future in mind, and the times when we indeed have the future in mind we fail to realise our present actions create the future.
One thing has stood out to me this past few weeks and a blog that i follow as repeatedly sent me post elaborating on it. I saw a picture on the ig page of She leads africa saying Beyonce wasn't built in a day, yes it seems like Jumoke was built in a day but trust me you don't want to go through half of what she has been through.
Yea, so that one thing looks like only a few know it, but the truth is a lot of us, if not all know it but have failed to use it, you see it's not like we don't know the principles to get what we want, its just that we trivialise it. Just like a lot of us know Joshua 1:8 but we find it hard to read the Bible talk more meditate on it.
This one thing we have being taught right from primary school, imagine that! Yet a lot of us are living wasted lives, before i say this one thing, i want to let you know we serve a God that can restore wasted lives, wasted emotions, anything at all you consider a waste.
This one thing:
60 seconds = 1 minute
60 minutes = 1 hour
24 hours = 1 day
7 days = 1 week
168 hours = 1 week
28/29/30/31 days = 1 month
365 days = 1 year
366 days = 1 leap year
12 months = 1 year
I can still hear my mself singing it back in the days in my classroom. It's in the head but not in the heart.
We hear a lot of time to spend our time wisely like we spend our money, but the truth is we don't even know how to spend money wisely and we fail to get the resource we need to be better at it.
Okay, I'm just here to tell to use the basic truth that you know, STOP WASTING TIME!!!
