I was supposed to talk about this at an event but due to time constraint i wasn't able to. When i was given the topic, i was like what i am supposed to talk about? A better me? I let the thought pass.
So the morning of the event, after praying i slept for some minutes and it was like God was telling me a story.
A girl went to several technology expert to make a small sized toyoto car into a tablet phone as she was in need of it more than she needed the car but didn't have the resources to get one but they told her it wasn't possible, she ended up finding the manufacturer and he did it, other engineers wanted to know how he did it and he told them 'the car had always had the potential of being turned into a tablet.'
This illustration was used because it is really impossible... Car... Tablet...no correlation. But God says more than you can imagine i have deposited inside of you.
It was the instinct in there that made her think of something that impossible.
In service on sunday, the founder of my fellowship, Charis Fellowship international, said something profound 'You are an original don't die a photocopy.' Always strive to be a better you by going out of your comfort zone, don't be a better anybody else. By all means learn from people but have your own style, your own signature, your own brand.
A lot of people have plans for you right from your parents, to your friends, to your loved ones but at the end you must go back to your Creator, your Source and find out what he wants.
Its only from God you can find out who you really are, not from your friends, or parent or well wishers.
There are lot of articles on being a better you but if you haven't gone to the Word of God to learn from first you are already on the wrong path.
